Welcome to my classroom page!  This page will hopefully provide information on the classes I teach and also provide easy access to resources for students and parents. 

Short Bio

I am originally from Coopersville, MI, a small town which is about 20 minutes west of Grand Rapids on I-96.  I graduated from Coopersville High School in 1996 and then went onto Western Michigan University.  GO BRONCOS!!!  I went to school at Western for 6.5 years (a long time, I know) where I played collegiate football and graduated with a BA in Marketing and a Secondary Education Certification in Business and Mathematics.

After graduating from WMU, I spent my first year of teaching Business at Benton Harbor High School.  While at Benton Harbor I taught Business Related Technology and also coached varsity boys track at Coloma High School.  My second year of teaching was spent at Berrien Springs High School.  While at BSHS I taught Marketing, Business Related Technology, Careers, and Web Design.  I was the Business Professionals of America advisor and coached JV football and varsity track.  Years 3 - 6 I spent teaching at Portage Central High School.  I taught a number of different business and math classes while there along with being a Business Professionals of America advisor and coaching varsity football and track.  Finally I ended up here, in my seventh year of teaching, at CTA.
