Exciting News in 2^nd Grade

Our butterflies will be arriving next week.  They will arrive as caterpillars and the students will be observing their beautiful transformation in the weeks to come.  Please come in and enjoy them, too!

Ed Performance Testing

Students have begun taking a Performance Series Test, a test that is required by our authorizer, Ferris State University.  It’s an online test that will be given over a number of weeks for students in grades 2-8.  Students will be tested on math, reading and language arts. This test is given to determine students’ academic strengths and weaknesses.  We are taking this test on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the next few weeks.   Please make sure you child is receiving a well-balanced breakfast and a good night’s rest during this important testing window.  If you have any other questions, please ask.

No Homework Club

Since we will be having conferences this week, there will be no Homework Club!

Flower Sale

The Spring/Mother’s Day Flower Sale has begun.  This week your child should have brought home an order form to start their selling.  All orders are due back by April 30.  Flowers will be ready for pick up on May 7.

Conferences

Going home today is the time/day of your conference next week.  Please check their folders!

No School

There will be no school on Friday, April 24.  Math homework will be due on Thursday, along with the spelling test given on that day.

Book Fair

Our book fair will be starting next week.  It is the Buy One Get One Free sale; our class will be shopping on Wednesday.
