What is one of your favorite movies and why?
   - I like comedies starring Goldie Hawn, especially "Seems Like Old Times" and Overboard" because her characters are big-hearted, sincere and funny.
 

  

Where did you grow up?
   - I was born and raised on the northeast side of Grand Rapids. I attended Creston High School. My parents still live in the same house where I grew up.
 		  

Where did you go to college and what for?
   - I went to Michigan State University and earned my degree in Business Administration.
 		  

Who is someone that has influenced you the most in life and how?
   - My grandmother, Lucille, was a wonderful role model. She had a giving spirit, a genuine interest in others, and was a living example of graciousness.
 

  

Do you have any pets?
   - I have a dog named Grady (see picture below). He is a poodle mix and 13 yrs. old.
 		  

What are some things you like about your job?
   - I like my co-workers very much. I also like the care-giving aspect of my job while building relationships with students and their families.

  

What are some of your hobbies?
   - I enjoy writing letters to people. I also like shopping, taking walks outdoors, and boating.
